Saraswathy Devi Scholarship is setup by Dr. Sindu Pillai in honor of her mother, Mrs. Saraswathy Devi. Mrs. Saraswathy Devi is a retired school teacher. She is an accomplished artist who enjoys painting and loves arts and crafts. She is well versed in Malayalam literature and is also a Sanskrit scholar. She spends her retired life taking part in devotional activities.
