Application Instructions
  • This application is for students who are attending in a college completing a bachelor’s degree, professional degree and/or any higher studies

  • Applicants must fill the application form online (click "Apply"), print, sign, get a local advisor's signature and email the signed application form and copies of supporting documents to EAK (Detailed instructions below) 

  • Applicant must contact an advisor closer to his/her home. List of advisors and their contact information is available on this page. No application will be accepted without the name and signature of an advisor

  • The deadline to submit application is November 30, 2021


Application Submission Process

Step 1: Applicants must fill and submit the Application form online (link above). The submitted application will be emailed to the email id provided in the application form.

Step 2: Applicant must print the email with the filled application information, sign and date in the application (Question 30)

Step 3: Applicant must send/take the application form and supporting documents to Advisor and get the Advisor's signature in the application form (Question 28)

Step 4: Applicant must email the signed application form and scanned copies of supporting documents to with Subject as "<<Your Name>> EAK Application 2021-2022"

  1. Applicant must use the latest application form from the website. If the applicant is a recurring student, he/she must submit a new application each year. Older version of the application form will not be considered.

  2. Attach a recent photo of the applicant to the application form.

  3. Complete the Supporting documents checklist (Question 29) in the application form and check the boxes to ensure that all the information is included before emailing the application form to

    • Copy of Aadhaar

    • Copy of the bank passbook / cancelled cheque.  Must have the following information:
      i.   Name of the bank
      ii.  Branch name and address
      iii. Account Number
      iv.  Account holder (must be in the applicants’s name)
      v.   IFSC code

    • Copy of academic credentials starting from 10th.  (Mark lists, any special awards, rankings etc.)

    • Copy of college tuition fees paid

    • Proof of income.  Scan the copy of proof of income obtained from the village officer with the application form

    • Any additional documents requested in application

  4. Provide accurate and verifiable data about income and academic records. Advisors will check on financial and educational status. Applications with suspicious or insufficient information about income or academics will be rejected.

  5. Applications must be submitted each year for continuation of scholarship, indicating latest academic achievements/grades/results. Receiving scholarship in any given year does not guarantee future scholarships, even though every attempt will be made to help deserving students who have already received scholarships.

  6. Incomplete application forms will not be considered

  7. Please take careful note of any communication by email, mail or telephone from EducateAKid team or from your advisor regarding your application. Student should be reachable by the telephone number (cell phone number is preferred) or email provided in the application. We prefer email communication

  8. Reminder for Renewal Applicants: Submit a new application every year, along with your previous year mark lists, and your advisor’s name and signature. A new recommendation from your advisor is mandatory for consideration.

  9. Typically, scholarships are awarded between February 10th and March 31st of the following calendar year. You will be informed whether you are selected through email to the advisors. Scholarship is awarded based on academic performance and student’s financial need. Decision of the Scholarship award to the students is determined by EducateAKid committee and is final.  Follow up with a phone call or an in person meeting with the advisor for the status of the application.
